Halo 4 Xbox 360 Bundle

At the recent Comic-Con event in San Diego, 343, the latest studio to develop the next video game in the popular Halo franchise announced with a little help from Microsoft that there will be a limited edition Halo 4 Xbox 360, decked out and designed with Halo geeks in mind.

The special console which has a hard disk space bump to 360gb is due to be launched for sale on November 6, features custom blue, white and grey graphics, 2 wireless controllers and a wired headset.  The console itself also receives a nifty paint job too, to match the rest of the accessories.

One pleasing point is that the usual green LED lights on the console and controllers have been replaced with a cool neon blue.  It's a shame that us normal gamers don't have the ability to change our lights too (without cracking the case open and modding it ourselves).

Along with the hardware, a copy of Halo 4 is also in the box, as is some special coupons or codes that will allow you to buy in-game items to customise your virtual Halo Marine avatar.  The points can also be used to download content from the Xbox Live Marketplace, which includes games, movies and music.

Will you be getting this console to celebrate the next bout of Halo greatness?  Only if you have $399 laying around.  I guess the real target market will be hardcore fans or newcomers to the Halo and Master Chief universe.  See you in the fight, soldier!

multi-me

More multiple exposure madness from my Canon A80. It's hard doing it on your own...

gun phone fire Another slow exposure photo in my front room. I was messing around with matches to get a nice fire effect but the damn things would'nt stay lit! it was only after I inhaled a lung full of smoke (and given up) that I noticed the phone and the gun in the shot. Looks a bit "James Bond".

slowmo One of my first tests into the world of long exposures. Inspired by my matey Swimpig and our late night garden long exposure adventures, I darkened my front room and messed about. I can only squeeze a 15 second exposure out of my Canon A80 - so I have to have it on the 10 second timer too. Focus, shoot, lights out, get in position and go!

Life is just a blur at the moment.  Too much work, too much internet, not enough sleep.  Must get outta bed and take some nice early morning photos like I have been planning.

stitchface Another pic made using Autostitch and tweaked in Photoshop. I lay down on the floor and snapped about 30 shots of my body but the top hald was the only bit that would stitch together without looking odd! I would love to do something like this pic by David Hockney though. Something for the future perhaps.

dualit At night I can be mostly found lurking in my kitchen with my Canon A80 on its tripod taking pictures of my toaster. The reflections from my Lava Lamp were caught quite nicely.
